Our prices are going up…

Here at the hemp shop, we always want to bring you the very best value organic sustainable products. That’s why we have kept our prices low. With prices increasing across the board, we have held firm at our pre-pandemic 2020 prices for as long as possible.

We worked especially hard throughout the pandemic to keep our valued customers supplied with health foods and essentials. We had less staff and more orders to fulfil than pre-pandemic. The company owners pulled 10-12 hour days, sometimes 7 days a week making sure that your orders went out on time. While other staff were furloughed or working from home, Bob and Camilla were the ones packing your orders, answering your emails, giving you reassurance on the phone, while somehow running the company at the same time. It was a Herculean effort, they did it all for the love of hemp and compassion for our customers in a difficult time.

With wholesale prices increasing, the cost of shipping skyrocketing, and business energy bills also on the rise, the time has come where our hand is being forced. In our 25 years of operation, times have never been so tough. We need to increase our prices to keep things running.

We want to give our customers advance notice, so that you can get your orders in before we increase prices by at least 5% on all of our products.

The price rises were originally planned for the 12th October, but we have now delayed them by one week. The new date for price increases is the 19th.

We hope that you understand our reasons for doing this, and we will continue to bring you the absolute best prices possible on our range of hemp products.
