UK Postage

At The Hemp Shop, we send goods using either the Royal Mail - up to a maximum of 2.5kg per parcel or our couriers, DPD or FedEx - up to a maximum of 25kg per parcel.
Royal Mail will always be the low cost option.

*Next Day is via DPD - (all Next Day shipments are not guarenteed. This is because no courier company guarentees their own Next Day service).

Royal Mail will deliver to anywhere in the UK with no surcharges.

DPD have some Post Code exceptions and on those post codes, the service will always take 2 days and there may also be an excess delivery charge, usually around £11. Simply check with your Post Code when you are in the Basket for instant despatch prices and options.

Due to our courier and delivery agents requirements, please note we are not able to deliver to PO Boxes.  Any orders placed with PO Box delivery addresses will be entirely at the customer's own risk.

Please always enter both your contact phone number and email address when ordering, as this will be used by the despatch companies to contact you in case of a problem with your delivery. The Hemp Shop cannot accept any responsibility for failed deliveries if either of these is omitted from your order.

Delivery Information: 

95% of UK orders arrive within 5 working days, 99% within 14 days. We are currently sending goods out within 2 working days. You will receive a despatch confirmation email once the goods have been sent and the email will contain tracking details in case of any delays in the post. Your goods must arrive within 28 days of us receiving your order. 

Due to the variable cost of fuel to our despatch companies, all orders have, as standard, a Fuel Surcharge added to your despatch cost.

All orders inside the UK have full tracking. You will receive a confirmation of despatch email which will include your tracking number. Many of our parcels are sent via couriers which have the options of email and text message updates on expected time of delivery. An accurate email address and mobile phone number is therefore essential when placing your order so you can receive this handy information.

All orders must be paid before we are able to despatch any goods

If your order does not arrive within 14 days of the date of despatch, please contact The Hemp Shop immediately. After 21 days we are unable to offer any compensation ourselves and you will have to pursue your own claim through the despatch company. For Royal Mail delays or post parcels, we have to wait for 15 working days before Royal Mail consider the parcel lsot and a replacement can be sent out.

In accordance with our environmentally sustainable policy and the eco adage of REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE we try to keep our packaging to a minimum, as such, many of the boxes and packaging are re-used - many from our suppliers. This keeps these items out of landfill, saves manufacturing further packaging and reduces the cost of Postage & Packaging to you, our customers.
