Asymmetrical look

The classic shoulder bag offers a large main compartment, which is adorned by an asymmetrical flap with decorative strap. Particularly practical: the flap can be quickly opened with a magnetic button. A phone compartment and closable inside pocket have been fitted to allow you to store smaller items and a mobile phone. One further small zipped pocket is located on the reverse side. The reinforced shoulder strap is length-adjustable, and made using leather - with hardy organic 55% hemp & 45% cotton fabric

Many cheaply made bags are simply not built to last, meaning that there is a cycle of buy, break and buy again. Keeping the same bag for many years is much more environmentally friendly than buying a new bag every few years. With many bags being made from synthetic materials (polyester), the environmental cost of producing new bags every few years and transporting them half way across the world to be sold in shops here in the UK is astounding. These natural fibre bags are built to last, and you'll find yourself still enjoying them for years to come, helping the climate and environment.

Hemp is a wonderful environmentally friendly material. The plants themselves require far less water than cotton to grow, they require no pesticides or chemical fertilizers of any kind, are able to grow organically in almost any region of our planet, and require far less land to produce the same amount of fibre as cotton. The plants draw carbon dioxide from our atmosphere at a greater rate than any other crop or forest, in one growing season an acre of hemp plants can absorb more CO2 than an acre of trees does in their entire lifetime! It's incredible! Hemp plants also leave the soil in a better condition than before they were planted, drawing out toxins from the ground and relieving soil compaction with their deep root systems. These same root systems also help to prevent soil erosion by binding the soil together, preventing local waterways from becoming clogged.

Manufacturers Code of Standards:

If you're living life on-the-go, hiking, travelling or commuting you need practical and useful bags and backpacks. Lots of pockets (both inside and out) make it easy to keep things organised. Top quality and workmanship comes as standard. The concept is based on interacting responsibly with nature, modern designs and perfect functionality throughout the range. They predominantly use renewable resources, which can be traced back 100% to ecological sources.

PURE stands for a responsible approach to people and nature. Therefore, safe production conditions and respect for human rights are particularly important to us. Our production facility is audited according to BSCI. BSCI stands for Business Social Compliance Initiative and includes optimized social and environmental standards. This secures basic employee rights, e.g. foregoing the prohibition of child labour, discrimination, underpayment, excessive working hours and other violations of human rights. Only environmentally friendly, degradable and AZO-free paints may be used. This protects the health of employees and nature. We produce our bags and backpacks in China. From there, the raw material hemp is also sourced. During our regular visits on site, we convince ourselves that our requirements are met.

Since 1995, this series of bags has stood for sophisticated quality, outstanding design and a high degree of functionality, with an ecological sense of responsibility. Hemp, cotton sourced from monitored organic production (kbA) and leather are used exclusively - these being among the oldest materials known to man.

Care Instructions:  Hand wash in lukewarm water. Do not wring dry, use only mild detergent and hang to dry.
